A bonded warehouse is a storage facility that possesses a special designation from US Customs that allows imported goods to be stored tax/duty free before the importing party takes possession of those goods.

Storing wine and liquor at a bonded warehouse allows you to postpone when you will pay taxes on those imported products: no duty tax for importing and no value-added tax from sales. Whether you need more time to finish importing documents, meeting legal requirements, or waiting for a deal to go through, you can store it at our local facility and take possession of the product when you need it.

There are bonded warehouses that store imports tax-free but not the appropriate facilities for certain types of products like wine.
