New Jersey Wine School: Beaujolais

Viva La France - Swirl, Sip, Taste and Learn about the liquid pleasures of Northern France taught by founder Susan Hesleitner of New Jersey Wine School (NJWS) which provides one of the best wine & spirit educational programs in the United States.  They offer a range of weekly educational classes, Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) and French Wine Scholar (FWS) courses. Wines from this tiny region which are produced from the Gamay Noir grape can be young and juicy “nouveau” style to a more serious Cru that drinks like a red Burgundy.  In this section, we’ll discover the distinct personality, terrior, climate, soil and altitude of the 10 Crus by tasting six wines from Beaujolais.  We’ll also discuss its Roman and historical influences and differences between the North and South.
